Backbends are a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual pursuit. They give us an opportunity to tune into the inner body and find new spaces to move into. In this workshop you will learn the movement mechanics of different heart opening postures, as well as other more subtle tools such as working with the breath and mind, to deepen your backbending practice in a safe and transformative way.
This workshop is for all levels. We will start by applying technique to basic postures and then learn how to integrate the foundations established there into more advanced backbends.
